Chose O&P Field Because
After working many jobs in many different fields, Kevin said that orthotics and prosthetics was the only one that checked all of the boxes––providing patient care, working with my hands, and learning new technologies.
“Being able to watch patients’ lives change in real time is the thing I like most about my job. Watching someone who is confined to a wheelchair come into the clinic and then be able to walk out because of something I did is amazing.”
Kevin loves to cook, go to the gym, rock climb, and write. He also enjoys building miniature computers, making his own butter, modifying Casio watches, and customizing his clothes. He also feeds stray cats who live near Sonic.
“Flames don’t reminisce the coal; your present sacrifices will pale in comparison to your future rewards.”
