Chose O&P Field Because
Before moving to Arkansas from Louisiana in 1994, Nina had already worked for more than a decade in orthopedics. Prosthetics and orthotics seemed like a good fit since Nina loves working with people and the profession provides the opportunity to help them. She started with Snell as a temporary employee in October of 1994, then joined as a permanent employee in January of 1995.
“The people who I work with and the people who I meet everyday are the reasons I like my job. Knowing that you made someone’s life a little brighter is just the added bonus.”
When Nina was 16, she played drums and piano in a country western band. While she no longer counts music among her primary pastimes, she does enjoy reading, going to flea markets, watching eagles and exploring the natural beauty of Arkansas.
“The grass may be greener on the other side, but you still have to mow it!”
