Chose O&P Field Because

In Roslyn’s case, the O&P profession chose her. Originally, intending to become a park ranger, Roslyn had trouble finding open positions due to the recession when she graduated from college in 2009. She heard that an O&P company was looking for someone in administration and applied. After getting hired there, she started working her way up through different positions and fell in love with the O&P field along the way, and the rest is history.

Comment

“I love the ability to improve mobility and function for our patients. I don’t take for granted the trust that doctors, nurses and therapists put in me to provide appropriate O&P services to their patients in a timely manner.”

FUN

FACTS

Roslyn loves to read classical literature and collects old books for her personal library. She also admits to being a huge J.R.R. Tolken nerd, which might help to explain why she chose an excerpt from his most popular books as her favorite quote. Or, it could be that she chose that line because one of her other hobbies is hiking, along with water sports.

“Not all those who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolken (Lord of the Rings)
