The people around Tammy may have had some influence over her decision to make the O&P profession her career. (Her husband has been working in the O&P field for more than 40 years, and her father-in-law was an orthotist for 43 years.)
“While all aspects of the job are really rewarding, working with mastectomy patients to help make them feel better and more confident is personally satisfying. Plus, I especially enjoy working with pedorthic and orthotic patients who are veterans.”
Tammy enjoys watching documentaries and spending time with her husband. She also says that winter is her favorite season and she actually loves cold weather and snow.
