Elliot enjoys helping his community in ways that better an individual’s quality of life. The combination of working face-to-face with people and using his own skilled hands to build a prosthesis or orthosis is very rewarding to him.
“The patient interaction and being able to build something that is customized to an individual’s needs are what he likes most about his job.”
Because Elliot and his wife have two young children, his free time nowadays often consists of giving piggy back rides, singing kids’ songs, playing guitar, and making smiles happen. He admits that his dad jokes are terrible, and claims to be able to cook Minute Rice in just 59 seconds.
