Chose O&P Field Because

According to Jonathan, becoming a practitioner has been his dream career since he was 14 years old. His first exposure to the field was during a presentation by prosthetics & orthotics residents for his high school medical terminology class. He wanted to positively impact people’s lives by using the professional knowledge he has acquired, and has always viewed the field as the perfect mix of patient care and hand skills.

Comment

“I like the opportunity to connect with patients and develop a relationship with them that other healthcare professionals rarely get to have. Being able to support and give back to people who are going through limb loss or mobility issues is very special to me. It is so rewarding to see them get parts of their lives back that they’ve been missing. Plus, through our work serving others we’re able to display our faith and be a light to those who need it.”
