For several years, Ron worked as an orthopedic technician and cast technician at Little Rock area hospitals. After feeling the desire to improve the quality of life for others and for himself, he was able to begin training to become an orthotist in 1996 when he joined the Snell team.
“The thing I like most about my job are the times when I see someone enter the office in so much pain that they’re barely able to move, but after they’re fitted with the proper orthotic device, they look at me and say that they feel so much better now.”
In his free time, Ron stays busy either working alongside his wife on their small farm, or searching for beautiful places throughout Arkansas on his motorcycle. But perhaps his greatest passion is volunteering to help victims of child abuse.
“It’s better to give than to receive.”
