Chose O&P Field Because

Tristine chose the O&P field to help individuals who are experiencing limb loss or neuromuscular deficits regain their mobility. She discovered prosthetics and orthotics was one of the most actionable ways she could get people back on their feet to continue being active and living their life. The O&P profession is a beautiful intersection between art, science, fabrication, and working with people.

Comment

“I love the patients who show you how much your work can change their life. I enjoy learning new skills everyday, communicating with patients to determine their goals so I can help them reach it, and determining how to build devices using my own bare hands (and some fun power tools).”

FUN

FACTS

Tristine likes to play basketball, climb rocks, cook Thai food, and make DIY homemade stuff like lotions & household cleaners. She also shares that she was named after Brad Pitt from Legends of the Fall (1994 movie), whose character’s name was Tristan.

“Perfect is the enemy of better.”
